Hamza AbuAyash is a Palestinian-Jordanian multidisciplinary artist and designer, born in Lebanon in 1981. His early life between Tunisia and Jordan, followed by his settlement in Palestine in the late 1990s, formed a rich cultural foundation that continues to shape his artistic practice. He holds a BA in Interior Design from An-Najah National University in Nablus and a Master’s degree in Autonomous Design (Social Design) from KASK – the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent, Belgium. Hamza’s work spans calligraphy, illustration, sculpture, video, and digital media, often blending traditional aesthetics with contemporary tools. His artistic research focuses on identity, collective memory, and the semiotics of language in public space. Over the past two decades, he has exhibited and performed internationally, and collaborated with institutions such as Public Art Lab (Berlin), Voem (Belgium), Viernulvier (Ghent), and the Palestine Film Institute.
